283	地の底に　喘ぎ苦しむ小羊を　救はむとして吾は立つなり

284	如何ならむ　聖も知らぬ大いなる　救の業を吾は行ふ

		(S4-390B translation) To clear the pitch-black / Of everlasting / Darkness / Is beginning to shine / God’s torch.

288	萬人を　救ふといふは永遠の　生命の道を諭ゆるにあり
	Saving billions of People lies in Teaching The path for Eternal life.	S6-100D.

289	穢れ多き　人を浄むる業こそは　誠の救ひの道にぞありける
	The very act of purifying The many impurities People carry Is the way to True salvation.	S6-100E; previous translations are all based on a substantively-changed version of this poem in Japanese. This non-Meishu-sama version is 穢れ多き　人を浄むる業こそは　誠の救ひの綱にぞありける KEGARE ÔKI, HITO O KIYOMURU WAZA KOSO WA / MAKOTO NO SUKUI NO TSUNA NI ZO ARIKERU. The substantive change is the substitution of Meishu-sama’s word michi (“path”) for the word tsuna (“lifeline”). Translations of this altered poem appeared in Prayers and Gosanka, page 31C; Prayers and Poems, page 31C; Sounds of the Dawn, Volume I, pages 65 & 207 (#154); and Book of Gosanka, page 40, #157.
		Prayers and Gosanka & SDI translation Purifying earth / Of its clouded condition / Can best be achieved / Through channeling God’s great Light, / Lifeline of true salvation.
		Prayers and Poems translation This way of purifying / A person’s spirit— / No matter how clouded— / Is a lifeline / Of salvation.
		Book of Gosanka translation To save all mortals, / Who are tainted much with sins, / Their souls must be cleansed; / Salvation through cleansing souls / Is the true life-saving line.

290	大神の　任しのままに吾は今　生きとし生ける物みな救はむ

291	智慧や学　如何にありとて判るまじ　神の仕組の奥の奥がは
