Three: An Explanation of Spiritual Light

As the words mean literally, “spiritual light” is “the spirit of light,” “the light of spirit.” That which is called spiritual light continuously radiates from all things, whether big or small. Even animals and plants have a certain amount of spiritual light. Here I will explain about the spiritual light of human beings.
The spiritual light that emanates from human beings is for most human beings also known as “the spiritual robe” or in English, the aura. In healthy individuals or those with purer hearts, the light is stronger and the aura, thicker.
Individuals of a rather higher spiritual level will have an aura with the thickness of about a foot. Auras which are smaller will not be over an inch thick, but most ordinary people will have an aura of about two to three inches. Most auras are whitish, but depending on a person’s spiritual lineage, auras can be divided into two varieties.
These two lineages are those of the sun and those of the moon. The color of auras of those on the spiritual lineage of the sun are a golden hue, and those of the moon lineage, a silver color. Another aspect is that in cases of special individuals such as Shakyamuni or Christ or at another level, individuals like Kukai or Nichiren, the aura is many times thicker than ordinary individuals and also contains light. But still there has not appeared a person whose aura encompasses the entire world. Briefly put, Shakyamuni’s encompassed a great part of the East; Christ’s, the West; and those such as Kukai’s and Nichiren’s, an area within Japan. It would be fair to say that the extent of the expansion of the religions explains the size of the founders’ aura.
At present, however, there is appearing an aura of great size without precedent. Now, it is of the necessary size and strength, but in the end, my aura will spread throughout the entire world, and that stage will be a world of divine light absent disease, poverty, and conflict. At present this aura is still small, but as far as its strength is concerned, even now it surpasses that of Shakyamuni and Christ. Because this light has the strength to heal disease, it will come to be able to heal all diseases as many practitioners whose bodies will be used as media for the light are trained. As my light is a mixture of the light of the sun and the light of the moon, when directed toward an individual with fever, the activity of the moon will cool, and when directed toward individuals who are chilled, the activity of the sun will warm. In later sections I will discuss the extent of this light.
