Great Construction

Opening Remarks (Chijôtengoku 4)

Thanks to the efforts of all, Chijôtengoku has gradually become known among greater numbers of people, and with each issue, the amount of copies published increases. There is not any journal with as much value as this one. After only one reading, most agree that they cannot live without it. To speak so frankly seems to be indulging in self-praise, so we are contrite.
Still the contents carried in this journal are literally stuffed with jewels, the essays of Master Jikan that greatly surpass the levels of society in general of areas as yet unexplored. We think of it, therefore, as a field of learning for the twenty-first century. Indeed, the more the contents are savored, it is found that the food is not just spiritual; it is a great source of nutrition.
All followers should utilize this journal to a great extent in publicizing efforts. It would be fair to say that results will be one hundred per cent.
