Great Construction

Opening Remarks (Chijōtengoku, Issue 13)

Along with the liquidation of our former organization as preparation for replacement and the fact that has been born in its place the Church of World Messianity is as all know. Needless to say, as these events are nothing other than aspects of the great economy of God that are responses to the pressures of these important times, it is sufficient to say that we serve willingly and readily, but rather we feel that such a seemingly easy-going attitude is wasteful. As our great teacher, Meishu, has taught, Kannon is the activity of Buddha, who bestows, with a warm hand toward all sentient beings in ways without regard to good or evil and who obscures the light and becomes one with dirt, salvation with great mercy and great compassion. But now, which has become a period of great global transition, this manifestation of the Buddha will shed its robe, and as the Savior (Messiah) manifest divine power that is myriad folds stronger than the power of Avalokitesvara.
As a result of this transition, it is only natural that good will shine and that evil will perish, and from now will manifest the power of judgment that separates good from evil. Simply, it is a global settling of accounts, truly a time to be frightened and to be joyous. Those who will be frightened are those prone to evil and those who will be joyous are those prone to good. In the long period until the present day evil held sway and good has been oppressed, but here will come a great transition. Righteousness which has been trampled under will begin to be gloriously rewarded. All of humanity has probably been looking forward to this sacred time and our happiness it is that we have been permitted to participate in this great work which should be counted the first and probably the last of all time.
We should keep this significance deep in our hearts. Putting down my brush, I urge all to advance while we firm our determination to boldly continue strenuous efforts in our appropriate roles of service.
