Pearls before Swine

The expression “pearls before swine” has been around since antiquity, and actions that reflect this concept routinely take place, so here I would like to address this phenomenon.
Let’s imagine that we have an individual before us. Let’s say that person is sick or has met with some form of calamity, that is, misfortune is being suffered in some way. When World Messianity is introduced to such individuals, there are those who are saved and right away become members, and then again there are those who come up with various reasons for opposition, who although they doubt, really want to be cured, so they receive Johrei, are indeed surprised when they are cured, and then join. The first kind of individual is one of a higher level of spiritual awareness. The latter type of person is one whose level of spiritual awareness is intermediate. Then again, there are many in the world whose level of spiritual awareness is low. Not just many, these types are probably in the majority. No matter how much World Messianity is explained, no matter how many miracles are presented, this kind of individual will obstinately not believe. It is futile to keep trying to explain to such people. Continuing to recommend becoming a member of World Messianity to these individuals is to cast pearls before swine. Therefore, when introducing World Messianity, give a general explanation and then determine the listener’s attitude. If it is that the person is one whose level of spiritual awareness is low, it is best to stop. Exerting effort on matters that are unlikely to occur is nothing more than a waste of time and effort. That is because it is quite inefficient in the overall salvation of humanity.
