Okada
Jikan was the nom de plume of Okada Mokichi, called Meishu-sama by
followers. Okada struggled to overcome poverty and become a successful
businessman, only to meet with deep suffering, both physically and in
business. Turning to faith, he experienced divine revelations, based on
which he went on to learn and to point out the mistakes of our present
civilization and specifically show how we can construct a paradise on
earth. We have selected and translated a few of Meishu-sama's
teachings, in essay and poem form, to present here. |
