Climate and Weather
I present a spiritual explanation of climate and weather, but contemporary individuals who are used to materialistic scientific interpretations may find it difficult to acknowledge what I say. I declare with confidence, however, as what I teach has been learned through divine revelation. In a nutshell, changes in the climate and good or bad weather are both determined by human beings. This may sound quite peculiar, but I hope that readers do consider what I have to say.
Those who have followed what I have explained so far have, I believe, come to understand more or less the idea of the influence from the spiritual world which lies outside what we can grasp through the five senses of our material world. To speak to the spiritual world, I would like to begin by discussing the cause for changes in the climate. The period from the cold of winter to the heat of summer is divided into the four seasons, and in spite of the fact that the climate should alternate regularly as time passes, there are instances when the changes are peculiar. These changes become unusual due entirely to the human thoughts that have been reflected to the spiritual world. For example, when the majority of the population’s thoughts are correct and gentle, the climate will also be mild and regular. On the occasions when there are human beings who lack normality, in other words, when love and warmth are lacking, and their thoughts, cold, temperature drops lower than usual. On the other hand, when people get excited about some event, when appropriateness in enthusiasm is lacking, the result is that weather becomes much warmer than usual. In addition to these cases, when the evil, such as dissatisfaction, discontent, despair, desperation, and malediction in the thoughts of human beings is great, those thoughts are reflected to the spiritual world which causes a depressing feeling to float in the atmosphere.
Thus, the spirit of the speech issued by human beings has great influence, so words that belong to evil such as speaking ill of others, complaints, grumbling, and falsehoods profusely cloud the spiritual world. Previously, there was a friend of mine who was involved with religion, and the spirit of speech which people utter was visible to him. When words pertaining to evil were spoken, he could see a very black soot-like substance similar to smoke coming out of the mouth, and when words of a virtuous nature were spoken, he could see emitted a white-colored faint light. The soot that is emitted from the evil spirit of speech clouds the spiritual world, and as this cloud increases it reaches a certain level when a purifying action naturally generates to eliminate that cloud. It is the same principle as when dust piles up within and outside the home and has to be tidied up and swept away. Heavy rains, typhoons, thunder, floods, large fires, earthquakes, and such are all purification. These actions blow, wash, and burn away the cloud.
These functions of purification are carried out by various deities. Shinto speaks of the four deities of purification, and the actions to purify the world are undertaken under the names of Ibukido Nushi no Kami, Seoritsu Hime no Kami, Haya-akitsu Hime no Kami, and Hayasasura Hime no Kami by many dragon spirits who work under these deities.
Here I would like to explain about the Naruto whirlpools of the Awa Province which is on the island of Shikoku. As I mentioned above, cloud is processed as accumulated impurities are purified through wind, water, and fire. In the case of the Naruto whirlpools, the impurities from rivers and streams flow into the sea and settle into the depths of the Naruto Straits. Of course, these are impurities from all over the world, so the amount is probably quite astonishing. Furthermore, as scholars say, at the center of the planet earth is a great hot mass, which is to say, geothermal energy, and the impurities that have sunk to the bottom of the straits are continually being incinerated by geothermal energy. Japan could be called the incinerator of impurities for the entire world.
When human beings understand the principle of climate purification, they should try as much as possible to eliminate evil thought and evil spirit of speech.
