Daijo Religion (Excerpt)
“Daijo” means, natural phase of the Universe. Natural phase of the Universe is nothing but a process of creation and evolution of all nature. So “Daijo” includes everything in the Universe. Therefore the “Daijo” which I preach is not that which is preached in Mahayanist Buddhism but the law of “Daijo”. Religion philosophy, science, politics, education, economics, fine art etc., are all included in “Daijo”, not excepting even war and peace or good and evil.
There exists a natural law in the changing process of the Universe. One who can understand that everything in the world goes smoothly only by conforming to the natural law, may be said to be true man. Accordingly, when one deviates from the law, that which one tries to accomplish, does not go smoothly and is stopped half way for a while, or one perishes.
