“Medical Science for Dolls”
Medical Science Short Accounts

Plainly speaking, medical science is not a healing art for human beings, it is a healing art for dolls. Medical science does not look upon the human being as one whole but merely treats the arms, the legs, the trunk as separate parts. It does not admit the connection of the extremities to the main body. The most convincing proof of this is the division of medical science into separate fields of neurology, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, dentistry, tuberculosis specialists, gastroenterology, proctology, urology, etc. Suppose an individual had bad eyes, was tubercular, had hemorrhoids, was nauseous and suffered from athlete’s foot. The patient would have to consult five different clinics, or, if going to a general hospital, make the rounds of five separate departments. Even if the individual were to require just one medicine for each disease, five different medicines would be needed. I would like to know what people are supposed to do if they cannot rush around fast enough to visit five different doctors in one day.
On this point, our spiritual therapy understands all illness and diseases to be the same. Because the area where the medicinal toxins have accumulated becomes diseased, the treatment is the same. Even based on the fact that treatment needs only to be taken once, even for five different diseases, our treatment could be termed the ideal healing art. That Johrei provides such wonderful results cannot but be acknowledged just on this one factor alone. Johrei is a true healing art for human beings.
