Resistance

Medical science makes it a point to advise that “resistance should be strengthened so that diseases are not contracted.” This is backwards. That is, disease is contracted because resistance is strong. But medical science which is based on reverse principles, holds that resistance should be strengthened so that disease is not contracted. Because toxin is introduced, conversely, the body weakens. Because the body weakens, the purification process does not generate. Because resistance weakens, diseases are not contracted, which shows the extent of the mistakes of medical science.

“Teikōryoku” appeared originally on the second page of Kyūsei, Issue 50, February 18, 1950. Although no translations are known to exist, “Teikōryoku” was reprinted in the anthology Igaku Kankei Goronbun Shū (Collected Essays on Medical Science) that did enjoy a limited circulation. Igaku Kankei Goronbun Shū contains no publication data, but internal evidence suggests that its editing stopped several months preceding Meishu-sama’s Ascension. Furthermore, since the book lacks publication data, whether the volume had Meishu-sama’s imprimatur or not is unknown, so details concerning this volume are probably impossible to research.
