Great Construction

Opening Remarks (Chijōtengoku, Issue 25)

World Messianity is thought to be devoted exclusively to healing the sick, and the general public tends to think of sickness in terms of the physical, but this perspective is indeed erroneous. It is truly a small-minded viewpoint. If this idea were all there were to World Messianity, then it would be only an improved, progressive version of medical science, but such is not a complete way of looking at World Messianity; it is a way of looking at only one part.
One thing I would like readers to further think about and reflect upon is the present state of all things on our planet earth. Needless to say, almost everything is full of irrationality. Even if there is not a complete lack of the real, the real is certainly rare, and it is due to these circumstances that the distress of humanity shows no sign of being resolved. Briefly stated, the entire world is diseased, and so is each country and nation. If though, it is a very wide world we live in, fundamentally the world is a gathering of individuals, so, giving the matter some thought, the disease of the individual reflects to a nation, and that reflects to the world. Thus, the world is a diseased body. Given these circumstances, thinking in reverse readily permits understanding of the problem. If one individual becomes healthy, the nation can become healthy, and if a nation becomes healthy, the entire world can become healthy. As this principle is sufficiently comprehended, it may be understood that there is no other way to implement the aim of World Messianity, the construction of paradise on earth. It is based on this principle, of the healing of individual by individual, that the great goal will be accomplished
Those who criticize World Messianity, therefore, should keep this truth in mind and dispassionately observe our work.
