Be Daijo (Excerpt)
I always preach that that which is bad from the standpoint of “Daijo”, is good from that of “Shojo”, and that which is good from the standpoint of “Shojo”, is bad from that of “Daijo”. One should reflect on the fact that this important point is apt to be forgotten.
To speak in plain language, the standpoint of “Daijo” is to take a wide view of things. There are some occasions in which a follower might deviate from my teaching as a result of what he is striving his utmost to do, believing that he is doing a good thing. Such a person usually does everything through his own ability, places too much confidence in his own ability and is liable to forget the divine Power of God.
