Great Construction

A Hero for Peace

To merely hear the word “hero” nowadays, there is probably no one who does not feel some sense of respect or adoration, but I on the other hand believe that I am not the only one who also experiences dubious feelings. That is because upon hearing the word “hero,” I feel a bit of sorrow. It does not require that much thought, as can be understood from the exploits of heroes which are historical facts, that behind the scenes of their glorious achievements on the historical stage what cannot be erased are the offenses and sins of inflicting frightful harm through the sacrifice of the populaces of their times all for the benefit of personal greed. Having said that, there is also an aspect for which we can be grateful. Those are the various scenarios that have been incorporated in that such as literature, tragedies, and the cinema that we enjoy today.
Be that as it may, it does appear that society confuses heroes and great personages. For example, there is no doubt that Shakyamuni, Christ, and Mohamed, the three great saints, were great, but they were not heroes. This point can be understood after a little consideration, that is, of their achievements. There is no need to stress that these saints sought to save humanity on the level of heart, spirit, but when their work is compared to that of science, the brilliant society we have today is rather a scientific achievement. These achievements are what is visible on the surface, but from another aspect, the activities of those of religion can not be overlooked. Since these achievements are not visible to the eye, however, they have not been shown sufficient recognition. Not only was attention for the spiritual side lacking, the mistaken notion that religion and science are opposed to each other came about. The extent to which this error has been been the cause of the unhappiness of society can not be known.
The reality is, however, that the civilization we have today was achieved by these two aspects operating together, material and spiritual, back and front, negative and positive. All of which came about as a part of the economy of the Creator. On the personal, human level, the material side are the achievements of heroes and scholars, and on the spiritual side, the achievements of religious saints and holy ones.
Even though civilization has developed as thus described, expectations can not be held for much further development. The lack of anticipated progress results from the impasse of civilization. As can be seen in the reality that misfortune and anxiety in humanity have only increased, it cannot be ascertained whenever might be materialized the ideal of humanity, that is, a world peace and happiness. Therefore a huge leap in contemporary civilization must be made to construct a civilization of a higher level. Happily, the time for this jump has come. That is, God has clearly informed me, an individual named Mokichi Okada, the fundamentals of how this leap will be accomplished and has also provided me with great strength and power to carry this leap forward. To make such a statement might astonish and also may seem to be boasting. It may sound like I am blowing my own horn, but that is not to be helped as it is truth. The best evidence for my claims are to observe the changes in the world hereafter and keep an eye on my activities that will accompany these changes. No falsehood will be found in what I say.
To return to the topic of science and religion, one item I would like to add is that until the present day religions have fundamentally been shojo. That is to say, the teachings of the founders or saints of all religions have not been that profound. For proof, the most convincing fact that can be introduced is that confusion and bewilderment have prevailed and that true peace of mind has not been attained. This condition was unavoidable because the time was premature, but I have been informed by God from the highest level concerning the limitless and absolute fundamentals. It is not permitted to discuss these fundamentals at present, however, so I will explain only to a certain extent. One aspect of these fundamentals is that as can be seen in the religions to date, sacred teachings in writing or sermons through the vehicle of speech have been the two main methods for salvation. Other methods primarily include development of locations and institutions in mountainous or in flat areas and also buildings and religious art which all can be passed on to subsequent generations, but when these phenomena are given deeper consideration, it can be observed that what has been left behind is of insufficient strength and power to subsequently lead the world.
At this stage, a few words about myself are in order. As is known, at present I am constructing small-scale prototypes of paradise on earth, having selected sacred grounds in three places of scenic beauty, Hakone, Atami, and Kyoto. The concept for all these grounds is a paradise that harmonizes their particular characteristics both internally and externally, creating gardens of grand-scale that represent the beauty of the land and the water, palaces of art, with buildings that break the mold of religious architecture. In addition, I am concentrating on enlightening the world about the revolutions that will occur in medical science and in agriculture. Also, through the medium of countless numbers of astonishing miracles, I bring large numbers of people to recognize the actuality of God. Through these unprecedented methods, growth of my activities continues. Of course, all of these activities are not in other religions. These are all important foundations of the divine economy of a world of complete truth, virtue, and beauty.
The final point I would like to make is about the wide range of the construction projects of World Messianity. The plans for these projects are all completed on my head; it is only a matter of waiting for the appropriate time. Even so, it should be unnecessary to state that as time progresses, these plans will gradually be realized. These are on a wide-scale that cannot even be imagined. Since this total project constitutes the creation of a new civilization, it can be seen that World Messianity is not a religion, so a more fitting name is impossible. Furthermore, to the present, as the project has been conducted under divine guidance, even I myself have been astonished by its precision. The most convincing evidence for this precision is, as can be understood from the history of World Messianity, that since its establishment as a religion in August of 1947, World Messianity has experienced in merely six years the wonderful growth that can be seen today. During that period, even though World Messianity has endured religious oppression, lack of understanding on the part of journalists, and had varieties of obstacles thrown in its way, the marvelous development of World Messianity cannot be thought to be a human accomplishment. Of course, there is no doubt that the project will continue to advance according to God’s designated program and that finally the curtain will be dropped on the great divine drama unfolding on the world stage. Just to think about only this aspect is a fascinating subject of absorbing interest. Moreover, amazing miracles will continue, and stirring growth will certainly develop, so please continue to observe with close attention. Thus, the reader will understand that I consider myself to be a hero for peace.
