Spiritual Diseases: Tuberculosis and Spiritual Possession

The cause of tuberculosis in many cases is spiritual possession. This can be seen in the phenomenon that oftentimes when one spouse of a married couple dies, soon after the remaining spouse contracts tuberculosis and dies. The phenomenon is similar to cases among siblings when one sibling dies from tuberculosis, afterwards the next sibling will contract tuberculosis and die in much the same way. In shocking cases, five or six siblings may die, each soon after the previous one. When these occurrences are considered, it can only be concluded that tuberculosis is infectious, so it is not unreasonable that medical science holds that tuberculosis spreads through physical means.
It cannot be said that these are not examples of infection through tuberculin, but strange to say to modern ears, to the extent that it could be said to be almost complete, few are instances of tuberculosis that are not due to spiritual possession. Let me explain this in detail. When an individual dies from tuberculosis, its spirit goes to the spiritual world and becomes an inhabitant there, but even though the individual becomes spirit, it still suffers from tuberculosis, so its symptoms do not change at all from the time when it lived in the physical world and it continues to suffer. The spirit which dies from disease naturally goes to the world of hell so the hellish sufferings continue, and there is no one with whom the spirit can communicate about its sufferings. It is isolated, lonely, and very sad, so as a result of a deep desire to be with someone, the spirit draws one of its siblings to its side. The spirit understands that when it spiritually possesses that person, that person will become tubercular and die, and so it possesses the sibling. The situation is really quite horrifying. Then again, when there are cases where a spirit’s enshrinement has gone amiss, or after death a spirit has some request or demand, it will possess someone who it thinks will understand and perform the desired matter. Of course, the possessed person’s condition turns into tuberculosis in the same way, and people who view this situation do not perceive the relationship, thinking the cause to be infection. Medical doctors as well believe so, and after thoroughly undergoing medical treatment, the person dies. The best example I have of such is the following.
A little over two decades ago when I was still in my training period, my wife caught cold, and soon after, she experienced severe coughs and continual sputum mixed with blood at times. By any reckoning, these were the symptoms of tuberculosis, but I reasoned that in normal cases of tuberculosis, symptoms do not develop so quickly. I believed there must be some reason and performed a spiritual examination. I will write about spiritual examinations in later chapters, but I found out that sure enough about a year before I had treated a youth about twenty-years old who had the severe symptoms of a third-stage tubercular patient. He had died after about one or two weeks. I knew it was this spirit who was possessing my wife, so I asked him what he wanted. He said that in life, he had been taken care of by his father, but that they were very poor, and after death, no one had made sufficient offerings and even now, he had not been enshrined, and so had no where to go. He was spiritually homeless and there was nothing he could do to relieve the situation. He asked if he could somehow be enshrined. I agreeably assented, and told him, “it’s late now, so I will enshrine you tomorrow. But as you possess this physical body, it suffers. I will now offer a prayer, and when it is over, please leave this body.” He agreed, and as soon as I had finished the prayer, my wife completely returned to normal. This was such a clear and distinct case that even I was quite amazed.
